Anybody had this happen before on their Motorola phone. I’m using a Droid Turbo that is about a week old. It just turned off and said the battery was dead, I couldn’t turn the phone back on without putting it on the charger. Once it came back on, it showed that the battery went from about 50% to 0%, then back after it charged long enough to turn back on. It happened again a few minutes later. And I’m thinking it happened the day before about the same time, but I didn’t think much of it and put it on the charger thinking it was just dead.

Mine did go dead the first week and wouldn’t turn on until I plugged in the charger. I never got the 50-0% but after it got a full charge I never let it run down pass 4% and its been good ever since.
Ice Ryda cool, thanks. Hopefully it goes away.
Might have been an app that got stuck in a loop, and drained the battery. Your phone is waking up a lot while the screen is on, too. Might have to troubleshoot more if it keeps happening.
Paul Atwal Do you mean waking up a lot while the screen is off? It connects to my Moto 360 if that makes a difference.
I haven’t had that issue but it h’s pored off once. I think its a bug with the Verizon update out the box. It didn’t do it until I updated it.
Nolan Carson yeah, still seems like a lot even with connection to a smart watch.
FYI, It happened 2 more times. I swapped it out at Verizon with no questions. Thanks everyone.
